I'm back...

I'm back from my long self imposed hiatus!  Yes, self imposed.  Why? Well, because shortly after starting this blog I was slightly distracted by a maniacal idea that I should go back to school and get my Masters degree.  All while retaining my full time job/career, and home life.  It was, at the time, a deranged chase after my own inner demons that inspired such a quest.  However, now that I have accomplished my goal - yes, in fact May of this year I received my Master of Liberal Arts, with a concentration in the Humanities, from Southern Methodist University - I have decided to fill the void left by the time sucking curriculum with the laying down of fresh thoughts.  I'm back, for better or worse, but with new added gusto and insights.  I will be adding some of my papers from my studies to get the ball rolling on this blog.  Hope you all will join me in this mental rampage through my labyrinthian mind, where I seem to be thoroughly stuck with no way out.
